From A Napkin is a place where you can share business ideas with a motivated group of people that can bring them to reality.
Whether the idea is a million dollar concept or something that you're deeply passionate about, we would love to hear about it.
Draw your idea out in a simple and visually compelling way, take a photo of it and send it to us for the opportunity of investment and mentoring. Meet up with us over a coffee or drink to talk more about it.
What's Next?
Examples
You can present your idea any way you please. It doesn’t even have to be on a napkin. It could be on paper, Photoshop or even chalk on a driveway! If we like your idea, then we will email you to discuss it further, so keep your business plans simple. There are three questions you should address in your plan:
- What is it?
- How does it work?
- How will you get paid?
Prize and Mentoring
Once all the ideas have been submitted, we invite the entrepreneurs with the best ideas to pitch their plans to our panel. These pitches will be organised during May 2013, following which one idea will be selected for the investment.
From A Napkin offers an initial investment of $10,000 to the best idea. In return, From A Napkin receives a 5% royalty and a minority share in your idea. For more information about the finer details, click here.
